Adnoc, Shell sign 15-year SPA for 1 MTPA Ruwais LNG supply

Adnoc has signed a 15-year sales and purchase agreement with Shell for up to 1 MTPA of LNG from its under-construction Ruwais LNG terminal in Abu Dhabi. This marks Adnoc’s first long-term deal with Shell and the eighth long-term offtake agreement for the 9.6 mtpa project, with over 80 percent of capacity now sold just a year after FID. The Ruwais LNG project remains on track for commissioning by end-2028.
