BP seals LNG SPA with India’s Torrent Power

India’s Torrent Power has signed a long-term LNG supply deal with BP to receive six cargoes per year from 2027 to 2036, totalling 0.41 MTPA, delivered to Dahej Terminal. The deal, BP’s first with a major Indian company will source LNG mainly from its Coral South FLNG in Mozambique and Oman LNG’s Qalhat facility. Torrent Power will use the LNG for power generation, city gas distribution, and trading.
