Inpex says deal reached to end Ichthys LNG strike
Inpex reached an in-principle agreement with unions at Ichthys LNG, ending protected industrial action and allowing cargo loading to restart. The deal follows a strike escalation after Inpex failed to secure Fair Work Commission orders to stop the action. Unions say the dispute affected one LNG train, two condensate tankers and one LNG carrier, with about 200 million US$ in lost production.
