Venture Global, Tokyo Gas sign 20-year LNG supply deal

Venture Global has signed a long-term SPA with Japan’s Tokyo Gas, under which the utility will purchase 1 mtpa of LNG for 20 years starting in 2030. Venture Global did not disclose further details on the agreement.

MSC orders more LNG-powered containerships in China

Switzerland-based MSC has reportedly ordered six more LNG dual-fuel containerships (22,000 TEU) from China’s Hengli Heavy Industry, bringing its total order from the yard to 26 vessels. MSC previously ordered 21,000 and
