UAE’s Adnoc, Germany’s SEFE finalize Ruwais LNG supply deal
The UAE’s Adnoc has finalized a 15-year LNG supply agreement with Germany’s SEFE, committing to deliver 1 mtpa of LNG from its Ruwais terminal starting in 2028. This marks Ruwais LNG's first definitive sales deal, with over 7 mtpa of its total 9.6 mtpa capacity already committed. Adnoc has also secured agreements with Indian Oil and Japan’s Osaka Gas. The Ruwais project, expected to double Adnoc’s LNG output to 15 mtpa, is backed by major international partners and includes contracts with Baker Hughes for electric liquefaction systems.
