Woodside resumes NWS LNG production
Woodside has resumed LNG and domestic gas production at the North West Shelf project’s Karratha plant after tropical cyclone Narelle disrupted operations in Western Australia. The company had already restarted ship loading at Pluto LNG and is remobilizing its offshore workforce as it returns to normal operations. Karratha’s LNG capacity was reduced from 16.9 mtpa to 14.3 mtpa last year after Woodside permanently retired its second train because of declining gas supply.
