Workers' strike delays LNG tanker loading at Ichthys plant

Ichthys' labor dispute has finally turned into strike action, after workers first voted to authorize action, then called off planned May 27–28 stoppages due to bargaining progress. A limited strike has now disrupted operations, delaying the Taiwan-bound Pacific Breeze LNG tanker by about 24 hours. The two-hour stoppage caused the vessel to miss its departure window, while unions are threatening broader action next week.
