MET buys more US LNG from Shell

MET Group signed a new long-term LNG purchase agreement with Shell for US LNG supply to Europe. The deal strengthens MET’s access to flexible US LNG and builds on its existing 10-year FOB agreement with Shell signed in 2024. MET says US-linked LNG can diversify sourcing and reduce exposure to European benchmark volatility, including via Henry Hub-indexed contracts.
